Once upon a time, there was a kind girl named Cinderella. She lived with her mean stepmother and two sisters who were not very nice. They made Cinderella do all the work and she was very sad.
But Cinderella had friends! Little birds and mice liked to help her because she was so sweet.
One day, the king said there would be a big dance at the palace. Cinderella's sisters were excited, but they didn't let her go. Cinderella was very sad.
Then, something magical happened! A Fairy Godmother appeared. With a wave of her wand, she gave Cinderella a beautiful dress and glass slippers. But she said, "Be back by midnight, because the magic will stop!".
At the dance, the prince saw Cinderella and thought she was wonderful. They danced all night. But when the clock started to strike twelve, Cinderella ran away fast, leaving one glass slipper behind.
The prince wanted to find her. He went to every house with the glass slipper. When he came to Cinderella's house, the slipper fit her foot perfectly!
Cinderella and the prince were so happy. They had a big wedding, and everyone was invited. Cinderella was kind to her stepmother and sisters, and they all lived happily ever after.
