Pinocchio

Once upon a time, there was a kind old man named Geppetto. He made a little wooden boy and named him Pinocchio.

"I wish he were a real boy," Geppetto said.

That night, a fairy came and made Pinocchio come to life! "Be good, Pinocchio," she said, "and one day, you will be a real boy."

Pinocchio was very happy! But he didn’t always listen. One day, he met two tricky animals, a fox and a cat.

"Come with us, Pinocchio! No need to go to school!" they said.

Pinocchio followed them, but they tricked him! They took his money and ran away.

Then, something strange happened—Pinocchio’s nose started to grow!

"Why is my nose so long?" Pinocchio asked.

"When you tell lies, your nose grows," said the fairy.

Pinocchio promised to be good and always tell the truth. The fairy made his nose small again.

One day, Pinocchio went on a big adventure and ended up in the ocean. A giant whale swallowed him! Inside the whale, he found Geppetto, who was looking for him.

Pinocchio had an idea! They made a fire inside the whale. The smoke made the whale sneeze—ACHOO! Pinocchio and Geppetto flew out of the whale’s mouth!

Back home, Pinocchio took care of Geppetto, went to school, and was always honest.

Then, one morning, something magical happened—Pinocchio woke up and saw he was a real boy!

Geppetto hugged him. "I’m so proud of you, my son!"

And from that day on, Pinocchio and Geppetto lived happily ever after.
